Project Description

Desert Willow Family School is an alternative program where students combine a half-day of classroom instruction with a half-day of home-based instruction. The addition included 7 classrooms, a lecture hall, counseling space, collaboration and support space.

WAVE ENGINEERING’S SERVICES

Consulted on acoustics, sound isolation and mechanical noise control. Worked with the architect to achieve the LEED for Schools v2009 prerequisite for acoustics. The school was awarded LEED Silver.
