Project Description

Replacement of the Pecos Street Bridge over I‐70 in Denver, Colorado, using accelerated Bridge Construction to minimize construction impact on the traveling public. A noise variance for nighttime construction was required to meet project goals.

WAVE ENGINEERING’S SERVICES

Assisted in the variance application process by predicting construction noise levels at the nearest residential areas. Aided in development of mitigation. Helped ensure client compliance with the variance by helping with sound monitoring equipment selection, training of personnel in its usage, and developing a compliance plan for noise measurement.
